A Message from our Management

It is of utmost pleasure to write a few words about MSC Egypt to my dear customers whose continued loyalty and goodwill are the greatest asset.

In 1998, Mediterranean Shipping Co. (MSC Egypt) was incorporated to carry out all marine commercial transport through various Egyptian ports.

With the significant growth of MSC’s maritime fleet, MSC Egypt also continued its growth and has reached the top position in the Egyptian market among all other container carriers, reaching its clients in various Egyptian districts through its wide spread branches available nationwide.

In May 2005, MSC Egypt moved to a new location in 55 Sultan Hussein Street to serve better its clients through a well trained, dedicated and professional staff  whose number reaches a total of 210 employees covering all important Egyptian industrial areas and main cities supported by modern technology based on well computerized system to reach its goals & targets with more efficiency.

MSC Egypt continues to look for new opportunities and in 2006 MSC cruises has been established, which markets the passenger ship division of the MSC Group.

In November 2007, MSC Egypt expanded the agency’s services by owning its own customs bounded dry depot at Amreya (Alexandria) 15 km from Alexandria port which can be used as a storage facility for inward containers with uncleared customs formalities.

15,000 sqm storage area with 260 reefer plugs & a space for 500 empty units and inland trucking facility to all destinations in Egypt through its own new trucking fleet are an added value for MSC customers.

MSC Egypt succeeds to maintain its top position through the years and thanks to customers like you the pace now is onward evolution.

So, on at least one last occasion, I want to direct my full attention also to my reliable principal - MSC Geneva.
